Doha, November 02, 2026 : HE Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Qatar National Day (QND) Organizing Committee Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani has announced the slogan for Qatar National Day 2026: “You Are the Nation’s Treasure.”
The slogan draws inspiration from an address delivered by HH the Late Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani when he handed over power to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. In his speech, he highlighted the role of younger generations in building the country’s present and shaping its future.
Sheikh Abdulrahman said the slogan reflects the national values of belonging, responsibility and contribution that have shaped Qatar’s development. It also recalls the determination and solidarity of earlier generations, who overcame difficult conditions and limited resources while working to protect the country and secure its future.
He noted that this year’s slogan carries particular significance as the first National Day celebration following the passing of HH the Late Father Amir. It also serves as an opportunity to honour his legacy and vision, which placed the Qatari individual at the centre of human development.
The Minister emphasised that the country’s greatest wealth lies in its people and their commitment to serving the nation. Their dedication, hard work and sense of responsibility remain essential to Qatar’s continued progress.
The slogan also reflects the journey of national development, from the sacrifices of earlier generations to the establishment of a modern state built on strong foundations. It highlights the importance of empowering citizens to contribute to the country’s future and preserve its achievements for generations to come.
Sheikh Abdulrahman added that Qatar’s ongoing development remains driven by the determination of its people and their commitment to upholding the legacy of the nation’s founders through loyalty, unity and collective responsibility.
