Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is bracing for a significant drop in temperatures, with some regions expected to see lows between 4 and 0 degrees Celsius starting Saturday.
The cold front will impact the northern parts of the country, including Tabuk, Al Jouf, the Northern Borders, Hail, and the northern areas of Medina, with cold conditions set to persist until Friday, January 3.
The country has already been experiencing cold weather, with a cold air mass sweeping through the Northern Borders, Tabuk, Al Jouf, and Hail from Sunday to Tuesday, causing temperatures to fall as low as -4 degrees Celsius.
Hussein Al Qahtani, spokesman for the National Centre of Meteorology, addressed concerns on Wednesday, dismissing rumours that the Kingdom would face its strongest cold wave of the winter in the coming week.
