The Primary Health Care Corporation announced that Five Categories are exempt from transferring from thier Health Centers that are currently dedicated for Qataris.
The decision is taking place starting from Wednesday, June 15 and following up with the decision made this past May 18.
The Primary Health Care Corporation noted that according to a tweet posted on its official Twitter account, that out of 28 health centers only four centers serve Qataris in order to improve the overall quality, and those centers are:
1- Leabaib Health Center
2- Muaither Health Center
3- Al Thumama Health Center
4- South Wakra Health Center
Noting that new health centers were under construction for Qataris only, and they will be completed in the first quarter of 2023 and they are:
1- Al Mashaf Health Center
2- Al Saad Health Center
3- Umm Al Saneem Health CenterÂ
4- New Al Khor Health Center
Exempt categories from transferring from health centers are:
1- Individuals with special needs
2-Children of Qatari mothers with non-Qatari fathers.
3-GCC Citizens who have valid health cards
4-Residents who are above 70 years old
5-Domestic Workers for Qatari families who are registered at the same health center
The Primary Health Care Corporation said that in order to ensure the smooth execution of these decisions by several phases, electronic transfers are made by PHCCÂ to alternative health centers that are close to the health centers designtaed for Qataris.Â
On a side note, PHCC has also announced that COVID-19 vehicle testing will be done during the summertime from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
