Ministry of Education and Higher Education
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education decided to repeat examinations of the end of the first semester 2021/2022 supplementary examinations for students infected with the Coronavirus (Covid-19) for grades one to twelve (daytime and adult education).
This came in a circular issued by the Ministry to the (male and female) principals of public and private schools that apply national standards, in which it specified the date for repeating these exams from today until February 10, provided that schools coordinate with parents and students regarding the appropriate date for exam according to the specified period.
The Department of Student Assessment in the Evaluation Affairs Sector of the Ministry stated that the issuance of this circular came in appreciation of the exceptional circumstances that prevented some students from being able to sit for the supplement exams due to infection with the Coronavirus.
With regard to students of the General Secondary Certificate (day and adult education), the Ministry of Education and Higher Education has set the date for re-examining them on February 13, and that the Student Assessment Department will conduct the examination and coordinate with the concerned schools. The examinations will be held at the Secondary Certificate Control Headquarters in the Ministry premises in the West Bay area.
