The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) organising committee of the World Judo Championships – Doha 2023, unveiled its official mascot, Joud, during the National Sport Day festivities, organised by Qatar Foundation at Oxygen Park yesterday.
Joud, a hedgehog dressed in judo attire, was introduced to sports enthusiasts and spectators at Team Qatar village. Visitors took part in various combat sports sessions, including judo, and enjoyed interactive activities and showcases on offer at the event.
The highly-anticipated World Judo Championship – Doha 2023 will take place from May 7-14, 2023, at Ali bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena, and Joud welcomes all judo fans and visitors to attend.
The National Sport Day event was a true celebration of sport, fitness and health, and all who joined in the fun activities left with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the upcoming World Judo Championship.
