Gulf Cup 26: Qatar Draw 1-1 with UAE

Qatar National Team on Saturday played out a 1-1 draw with its Emirati counterpart in their match at Jaber Al-Mubarak Stadium at the start of the 26th edition of the Arabian Gulf Cup, which is being held in Kuwait and will continue until January 3.

Each team is now with one point in Group A, in which hosts Kuwait drew with Oman. So, the four teams have one point each.

Qatar's goal was scored by Akram Afif from a penalty kick in the 17th minute, while Yahya Al Ghassani equalized for the UAE in the 45+1 minute.
