Al Arabi SC Vice President Mohammed Jassim Al Kuwari said that Al Arabi winning the Qatar-UAE Super Cup is a historic achievement for the club.

Al Kuwari told to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that Al Arabi's victory over UAEs Sharjah with a score of 1-0 at Al Thumama Stadium was the result of Al Arabi's great efforts to become the first Qatari club to win the cup.

He added that Al Arabi is not a stranger to great successes, which put Al Arabi among Qatar's finest clubs.

Al Arabi Vice President said that the Qatar-UAE Super Cup victory will serve as a great incentive for the team to give their best performance in the HH the Amir Cup and defend their title, won at the expense of Al Sadd last year, in the hopes of making yet another accomplishment to be added in the club's record.

The Al Arabi SC Vice President congratulated the club's fans, who played a fundamental role in achieving this victory, thanks to their massive support and cheering, calling on Al Arabi's fans to keep up their support through HH the Amir Cup and the Qatar Cup.

Al Arabi ranks 5th on the Qatar Stars League's standings, possessing 26 points, leaving them 11 points short of Al Wakrah, which occupies the 4th place.
