Annual Leave Entitlements
After completing one year of continuous service, you are entitled to three weeks of paid annual leave. After five years with the same employer, that increases to four weeks annually.
Public holidays add to this. Employees receive eight public holidays — three for Eid Al-Fitr, three for Eid Al-Adha, one for Independence Day, and one for National Sports Day.
If your employer asks you to work on a public holiday, they must compensate you with an alternative day off or additional pay.
