Nagoya, October 18, 2026: Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Secretary General HE Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain visited Qatar’s para-athlete delegation in Japan on Sunday, reaffirming the committee’s support for Team Qatar at the 5th Asian Para Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
The Games officially opened on October 18 and will continue until October 24, bringing together athletes from 45 countries to compete across 18 sports.
During his visit to the delegation’s accommodation, Al Buenain met with athletes, coaches and administrative staff and received an update on their preparations for the competition.
He praised the athletes for their efforts, determination and commitment, expressing confidence in their ability to deliver strong performances.
Al Buenain also reiterated the QOC’s support for the delegation and wished the athletes success in their events, expressing hope that they would achieve outstanding results at the continental competition.
