Doha, October 25, 2026 : HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to Governor General of Canada Louise Arbour following a fire at a Canadian Armed Forces base in Alberta.
The Amir expressed his sympathies over the victims of the incident and wished those injured a speedy recovery.
HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani also sent a cable of condolences to the Canadian Governor General, conveying his sympathies and wishing the injured a swift recovery.
Meanwhile, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani sent a similar message to Canadian Prime Minister Dr. Mark Carney, expressing condolences over the victims and wishing those injured a speedy recovery.
