Doha, November 03, 2026 : Qatar Charity has distributed food assistance to families affected by floods and vulnerable households in Morocco, reaching approximately 9,744 people in Tata Province.
The relief campaign, supported by donors, provided 1,392 food baskets to help ease the financial pressure on affected families and improve their food security.
The initiative was carried out in coordination with local authorities, with arrangements put in place to ensure the organized distribution of aid and its delivery to eligible beneficiaries.
Recipients expressed their appreciation to Qatar Charity, noting that the assistance had helped ease their daily hardships and provided much-needed support.
Tata Province is among Morocco's areas vulnerable to flooding. In September 2024, severe floods and flash floods caused casualties and extensive damage to homes, roads, bridges, water and electricity networks, agricultural land and oases, affecting local livelihoods and increasing the vulnerability of communities.
