The State of Qatar participates in the 30th edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), scheduled from May 1-5 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Qatar Tourism represents the State of Qatar in the exhibition with a 603 sqm pavilion that will highlight a group of Qatar's most prominent tourist attractions and its unique blend of modernity and cultural authenticity, along with a delegation of 43 tourism sector partners.

This participation follows the countrys remarkable success in hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, where Qatar's hospitality and tourism industry demonstrated its ability to deliver world-class events.

In a statement, Qatar Tourism said that Qatar Tourisms 603 sqm, double-decker pavilion will feature the destinations one-of-a-kind attractions and its unique blend of modernity and cultural authenticity. Qatar's participation at ATM demonstrates the countrys ongoing commitment to position itself as a leading global destination for travel and leisure.

Chief Operating Officer at Qatar Tourism Berthold Trenkel said: "We are pleased to take part in the Arabian Travel Market and showcase Qatars incredible offering as a world-class tourism destination. In particular, this leading travel and tourism exhibition allows us to engage directly with core markets that we have identified as part of our 2030 strategy." We look forward to highlighting the latest leisure developments taking place in Qatar and strengthening our partnerships with key travel and tourism stakeholders throughout the event," he added.

Qatar Tourism's pavilion at ATM will feature an array of unique attractions, including a Whale Shark activation, where visitors can view up-close the beauty of this endangered species. It will also include an augmented reality photobooth that will allow visitors to take pictures in iconic Qatari destinations. Additionally, there will be an immersive room that will play scenic destinations across Qatar, providing visitors with a 360-degree experience of the country's attractions where visitors can explore and interact with Qatars unique tourism offerings in real-time, per their interests.

In addition to the pavilion's attractions, Qatar Tourism will have a dedicated cultural area that depicts Souq Waqif, the countrys most popular traditional market, and serve Arabic coffee to guests. With the Expo 2023 Doha taking place later this year, Qatar Tourism will also shine a spotlight on this major upcoming event with an area at ATM dedicated to the Expo.
