Qatar Condemns Shooting at White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Affirms Solidarity With U.S.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar has issued a statement condemning the shooting incident that occurred during a dinner hosted by the White House Correspondentsā Association in Washington, D.C., attended by HE President of the United States Donald Trump. The incident resulted in the injury of a Secret Service agent.
The ministry reaffirmed Qatarās firm stance against violence and criminal acts, stressing that such actions are unacceptable regardless of motives or circumstances.
Qatar expressed its solidarity with the United States, extending wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured agent and underscoring its commitment to supporting international efforts to combat violence and safeguard security.
