Customs department thwarts smuggling attempt of Lyrica Pills

Banned pills seized

The customs officials of Air Cargo and Private Airports Department seized a smuggling attempt of cannabis and banned Lyrica Pills into Qatar.

These banned pills were found during the inspection carried out of personal baggage of a person travelling from an Asian country.

Cannabis weighing 477 grams and 3516 pills of the banned Lyrica pills were spotted by the Airports authority

The Qatar Customs officials are given with every kinds of support including the latest devices and continuous training enabling them to read the body language of smugglers and to be aware of the latest methods followed by them.
