Ministry of Education
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced the gradual resumption of in-person learning across educational institutions, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, 24 March 2026. Full in-person attendance for all students in schools and kindergartens will resume on Sunday, 29 March 2026.
In this context, the following arrangements have been confirmed:
From 25 the day of March of 2026, will recover in the same way to the attention face-to-face to minors and administrative staff and printers of the center's nursery.
From Tuesday, 24 to Thursday 26 March, students will be continuing with distance learning temporarily.
The schedule for government schools on the days of distance learning will be as under:
Kindergartens: ( Non-daily) Asynchronous learning
Primary Stage: 9 am – 12:35 p.m.
Advanced Stage: 9 am – 12:35 pm
Secondary Stage: 9 am – 12:35 pm
The timetable consists of five 35-minute class blocks, with two breaks of 15 minutes:
Breakfast break after 2nd class.
Prayer break after 4th class.
Regarding private schools and kindergartens, they will adopt the remote learning system during the temporary period at all education stage levels (kindergarten — secondary stage) adopting one of the following two options:
In line with official school timings of government schools; or
Organising their own schedules that allow full curriculum to be delivered.
The school day must commence at 9 am in all these cases, and it can not last for longer than five hours overall.
For higher educational institutions, face-to-face learning will be effective as of Tuesday, 24 March 2026 according to the schedule approved by each institution.
Private educational and training centres will start their in-person learning and training on Tuesday, 24 March 2026 according to their schedules and approved programs.
For a safe and stable learning environment for all, the Ministry calls everyone to follow up on anything related through its official channels, abstracts that are issued by the relevant authorities.
