The Summer Activities Programme 2026 has been inaugurated by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) at Student Activity Centres across Qatar. Starting from July 5th until August 3rd, 2026, this initiative adopts a slogan which is "Invest their summer in creativity" as it will be providing students with a safe but also fun and educational source during the summer holidays. The programme is being planned in partnership with a few strategic partners across the country.


Interactive Programmes for Students


The summer centres are being opened to draw students in with hands-on tasks in creativity, analytical thinking and practical skills.


Programme Highlights:

 

  • Runs from July 5 to August 3, 2026

  • Daily sessions from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

  • Open to students aged 6 to 18 years

  • Includes government school students, Qatari students in private schools, and students with special needs

  • Dedicated, fully equipped centre for students with special needs


Five Summer Centres Across Qatar


To ensure easy access for participants, the Ministry has established five activity centres across different regions of Qatar.


Participating Centres:

 

  • Al Wakra Secondary School (Boys)

  • Khalifa Secondary School (Boys)

  • Al Khor Secondary School (Girls)

  • Amna Bint Wahab Secondary School (Girls)

  • Al Hidayah School for Special Needs (Boys – Al Hilal)

 

Supporting Qatar National Vision 2030


This initiative demonstrates the work and mission of the Ministry with supporting students holistically. Providing enriching summer experiences, under the theme of "Light Up your World", is aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030 in building human capital by promoting creativity and innovation through lifelong learning to prepare future generations to face the challenges of tomorrow.
