Ministry of Education Inaugurates First Nursery for Children With Disabilities
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education inaugurated the first nursery for children with disabilities in the State of Qatar.
Located in the Abu Hamour area, the new nursery's vision is based on leadership in providing early intervention and comprehensive services to achieve comprehensive psychological, social, physical and academic development for children with disabilities and providing the highest standards of care and quality education for them.
The nursery, which was inaugurated by Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Omar Al Naama, provides two programs for care and education in both Arabic and English, focusing on the promotion of Islamic values, Qatari culture and principles of the Arabic language, as well as other features, programs and activities that make it a model for nurseries specialized in serving children with disabilities.
