The Ministry of Culture-organized Darb Al Saai events 2025, held to mark Qatar National Day, wrapped up in the Umm Salal area on Saturday.

The eleventh-day event combined an integrated experience that demonstrated the time-honored Qatari heritage and materialized the values of patriotism wielded by forebears and bequeathed to the people of Qatar generation after generation.

The event literally promotes the visual aspect, manifesting the Qatari identity with all its details, as this year's events featured an area of 150,000 square meters at the event's permanent venue.

Significant government ministries, agencies, and centers took part in the National Day events, with the organizing committee stating that Darb Al Saai embraced a record number of visitors from both citizens and residents, which reached roughly 300,000, an average of 30,000 daily, alongside the spectators who followed the national parade along Doha Corniche.

The events showcased Qatar's maritime heritage through the Al Bidda program, reflecting the traditional maritime heritage setting via Majlis Al Bidda, Bait Al Mutawa, the Traditional Café, Majlis Al Nokhatha, Al Nahham, and Al Tawash, alongside traditional maritime games, cultural competitions, and a series of specialized maritime museums documenting the nation's maritime legacy.

Children were granted significant participation, with the organizing committee providing outdoor activities such as various sports, while the main stage hosted cultural events, including nationally and culturally themed seminars and poetry evenings.

The Qatari House event offered a historical glimpse into the traditional Qatari house and its foremost features.

Broadly speaking, the events materialized a clear and vibrant image of the life of forebears, presenting urbanized models of Qatar's achievements that strengthen the nation's path toward development, stemming from the legacy of forefathers.

The venue showcased grandiose visual arts and fine art beauties in terms of exhibitions, which embody a panorama of beauty and culture that cherishes Qatar's heritage, history, and progress.

The Ministry of Culture was keen to hold musical shows through one of its flagship centers focusing on Qatari arts, the most essential musical instruments, alongside an old musical and artistic section showcased by the image archive of Qatar News Agency (QNA).

A record number of visitors said they were grateful and glad to attend these events, which literally touched various age groups, embodying the Qatari legacy with an epochal and attractive style.

Overall, the organizing committee of the National Day is committed to ensuring that every year's theme of this day expresses the nation's vision, aiming to promote the values of patriotism and deepen the pride in national identity.
