Abdullah Al-Salami, a traveler from Saudi Arabia, set off on his two-month-long walking excursion to Qatar on September 9, 2022, just in time for the start of the World Cup on November 20, 2022.
Al-Salami stated on his Twitter page that his journey will cover a distance of 1,600 kilometers.
He added, "In the name of God.. let the adventure begin...From the sea of #Jeddah to #Doha #Qatar," claiming he would be posting daily updates on his journey.
The Saudi explorer shared multiple videos of the various areas and stations he had captured on Snapchat from the start of his expedition on his Twitter account on September 15.

Al-Salami said he hopes to arrive in Doha in approximately 60 days as expected. Saudi Arabia will play Argentina on November 22, 2022, at 1 pm in Lusail Stadium.
