Riyadh, September 30, 2026 : HH Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud affirmed that the attacks targeting GCC nations underscore that Gulf security and stability are indivisible.
Crown Prince Calls for Strategic Cooperation
He stressed the importance of working with Gulf partners to protect regional security and pursue strategic cooperation and economic integration. The Crown Prince was speaking on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, marking the opening of the third year of the ninth session of the Shura Council.
Makkah Defense Alliance Highlighted
As part of Saudi Arabia's contributions to regional stability, the Crown Prince pointed to the establishment of the Makkah Defense Alliance, describing it as stemming from joint efforts to strengthen security and stability in the region. He also cited the creation of the Multinational Maritime Defense Alliance to bolster maritime security and protect shared interests along international waterways.
Kingdom Pursuing De-escalation, International Cooperation
The Crown Prince said Saudi Arabia continues working with partners to boost international cooperation on security, pursue de-escalation, and defuse regional tensions, stressing the need for the international community to act swiftly to ensure the safe flow of essential goods and humanitarian aid.
Condemnation of Attacks on Gaza, Al-Aqsa
He expressed the Kingdom's strong condemnation of attacks by occupation authorities against Palestinians in Gaza, along with violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the international community and the Board of Peace to fulfill their roles in reaching a lasting political resolution.
Support for Palestinian Statehood Reaffirmed
The Crown Prince underscored the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to supporting Palestinian rights, including the establishment of an independent state based on international references.
Yemen, Sudan Stability Also Addressed
On Yemen, he reaffirmed the Kingdom's full support, through the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, for extending government authority and confronting Houthi attacks. He also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's firm position supporting the unity and stability of Sudan and protecting its people from the effects of war.
