Qatar's Ahmed Tijan and Cherif Younousse advance to 19th Asian Games quarterfinals

On September 24, 2023, at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, Ahmed Tijan Janko and Cherif Younousse Samba of Team Qatar secured a quarterfinal spot in beach volleyball by defeating their Omani opponents with a 2-0 score. The match sets concluded with scores of 13-21 and 11-21, resulting in a total score of 24-42.
