Qatar National Library to resume operations starting 12 April 2026

Qatar National Library announced on 10 April 2026 that it will resume operations and welcome visitors on 12 April 2026 onwards.  

The operation hours will be as follows:

Operating Hours

Saturday to Thursday: From 8 am to 8 pm
Friday: 4 pm to 8 pm

Children's Library

Sunday to Thursday: 8 am to 6:30 pm
Friday: 4 pm tp 8 pm
Saturday: 8 am to 8 pm

Late-Night Study Hours

Friday to Wednesday: 8 pm to 6 am (the following day)

Thursday: 8 pm to 9 am (Friday morning)
