Banks & Financial Institutions: Three-Day Window
For the Qatar Central Bank, commercial banks, financial institutions, and organisations regulated by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA), the official holiday runs from Tuesday, May 26 through Thursday, May 28, 2026, with a return to work on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
This means ATM and digital banking services will continue as normal throughout the period, but branch services, in-person transactions, and institutional operations will be suspended for three business days. Customers should plan any urgent banking needs accordingly before May 26.
