Step 2 — Gather and Attest All Documents
Start the attestation process immediately after deciding to apply. This step takes the longest time. You cannot rush it.
Step 3 — Submit Your Application

Step 4 — Background Check and Initial Review
The MOI conducts a full background check and eligibility assessment. This stage typically takes 30 to 90 days depending on your category and current application volume.
Step 5 — Biometrics and Final Approval
If your application passes initial review, the MOI calls you in for biometrics. Final approval or rejection follows within a few weeks after this step.
Total expected timeline from document preparation to approval: 3 to 6 months.
