The Ministry of Municipality in the State of Qatar has announced that a prior permit will be required to import vegetables and fruits in Qatar effective December 1, 2021.
The Ministry organized an introductory meeting yesterday about procedures and steps required to obtain a permit to import vegetables and fruits. It was participaed in by suppliers of vegetables and fruits.
Requests for a permit to import vegetables and fruits (for the month of December 2021) would be received from suppliers, from November 1 to 20, 2021, via e-mail importrequests@mme.gov.qa related to receiving applications for a permit to import vegetables and fruits.
According to the Ministry, the application form F-AAD-PP-02 could be obtained from the Ministry's website and data required to determine items and quantities to be imported during each month could be filled out.
