Ministry of Labour
The Ministry of Labour, through its Department of Qualifying Skills Development, concluded a training course yesterday. The event aimed to equip job seekers with the skills to write professional CVs and prepare for interviews in line with job market demands and professional standards.
This workshop, conducted in collaboration with the Qatar Academy of Finance and Business and sponsored by Ahli Bank, is part of the second cycle of the “Jahez” vocational readiness program.
Over the course of two days, participants learned to create and improve their CVs, understanding different resume types, choosing appropriate formats, and avoiding common mistakes. They also received guidance on how to effectively prepare for and excel in job interviews. At the end of the course, participants were awarded certificates for their accomplishments in CV writing and interview preparation.
The training course is part of the Ministry of Labour's efforts to qualify job-seeking citizens and equip them with the necessary skills to enhance their professional readiness and improve their employment prospects in the labor market.
This initiative aligns with the third national development strategy, which aims to increase the proportion of the national workforce in the overall workforce, boost the number of Qataris in the private and joint sectors, and drive a significant shift toward a more productive labor market.
