Lebanese Energy Minister Getting Hit
A video circulating on social media has gone viral. The video captures the moment the Lebanese Energy Minister Walid Fayad got assaulted by someone while leaving a restaurant in Beirut.
The incident involved a man who got in the way of the Lebanese Energy Minister and was talking to him expressing his concerns, sayingâ I hope you understand me, and this is a message from the people of Lebanon, who want to deliver it to you todayâ, as the Minister listened to him attentively, a few seconds later he got pushed into the wall.
In another video at the same restaurant, some men and women are heared slamming the Energy Minister for "being in a public place amongst people where he is staying in the government with Crimnalsâ as they expressed.
Despite this, the Minister did not press charges, he is known to go out and about in public without any security.
Although there have been similar incidents other Lebanese politicians faced ever since the October 17th Lebanese Revolution, Fayyad continues to be seen out and about in public places.
