German Foreign Minister Thanks Amir for Qatar's Role in Afghanistan

Qatar Amir met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Federal Republic of Germany

The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Federal Republic of Germany, HE Heiko Maas, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of visit to the country, in his office at the Amiri Diwan this morning.

During the meeting, the most prominent regional and international developments were discussed, especially the developments in Afghanistan, where the German Foreign Minister expressed his country's thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir for the role of the State of Qatar and its efforts in Afghanistan in support of the peace process and the evacuation of civilians.

They also reviewed bilateral relations and ways to support and enhance them in various fields of existing cooperation between the two countries.
