CURRENT VEGETABLE PRODUCTION IN QATAR


What's Being Grown
Local farms currently produce almost 100% of vegetables sold during peak season, including cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, and zucchinis. 

These aren't the only crops, but they represent Qatar's agricultural strength. Other vegetables include:

  • Lettuce and leafy greens (ideal for vertical farming)
  • Bell peppers
  • Radishes
  • Carrots (challenging in Qatar's soil)
  • Herbs and microgreens
