What to Do If Your ESTA Is Rejected
If your application receives 'Travel Not Authorized', you cannot enter the US under the Visa Waiver Program. Your options are:
- Apply for a standard US B1/B2 visitor visa through the US Embassy in Doha.
- Review the eligibility questions — certain yes answers (prior criminal record, specific country visits) automatically disqualify ESTA applicants.
- Contact a licensed immigration attorney if you believe the rejection was an error.
A previous ESTA rejection does not automatically mean a B1/B2 visa will be denied — the two processes are handled independently.
