United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl and Gewan Islands, showcased its latest projects at Cityscape Qatar 2024, highlighting its commitment to sustainable living and luxury developments.
Abdullatif Ali Al Yafei, UDC's Executive Director of Public Services, emphasized the focus on promoting Crystal Residence, a near-complete project on Gewan Island. Comprising 15 mixed-use buildings with 586 apartments, 80% of which have been sold or leased, Crystal Residence also offers a 1,500-car basement parking facility and 11,000 square meters of fully leased retail space. The development has achieved GSAS certification, underscoring its sustainability focus.
Additionally, Crystal Walkway, a 450-meter air-conditioned promenade with 45 crystal shades, will serve as a major attraction in Qatar, featuring 10 tonnes of crystals, illuminated crystal flooring, and crystal-themed elements such as signage and clocks. The walkway’s design highlights UDC's dedication to blending luxury, sustainability, and innovation, making Gewan Island a prime destination for residents and visitors alike.
