Rain expected from Friday through the start of next week

The Qatar Meteorology Department's latest update forecasts chances of rain starting tomorrow, December 29, continuing through the beginning of next week. The weather is anticipated to be partly cloudy to cloudy during this period.

Light-intensity rain is expected across most areas of the country during this period. Additionally, the Department cautions about reduced horizontal visibility initially, accompanied by strong winds and high offshore sea conditions on Friday and Saturday.

Throughout the weekend, temperatures will fluctuate between 19 degrees Celsius as the lowest and 27 degrees Celsius as the highest.

On Friday, the wind will predominantly blow from the northwesterly direction at 5-15 KT, with gusts reaching up to 22 KT. On Saturday, the wind will shift from northwesterly to northeasterly at 5-15 KT with gusts up to 25KT.

Sea heights are predicted to range between 3-6ft, escalating to 8ft on Friday, and 3-6ft, increasing to 9ft on Saturday.
