Doha, October 25, 2026 : HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has sent a cable of condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping following an earthquake that struck the Xizang region in southwest China.
HH the Amir expressed his sympathy over the victims and wished those injured a speedy recovery.
HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani also sent a cable of condolences to President Xi Jinping, extending his sympathies over the earthquake victims and wishing the injured a swift recovery.
Meanwhile, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani sent a similar cable to Chinese Premier Li Qiang, conveying his condolences over the victims and wishing those injured a speedy recovery.
