In preparation for the upcoming 2023 Asian Cup tournament to be hosted in Qatar, Saudi Arabia's national team has touched down in Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar.
Set to undergo training at the Sealine Resort from December 31 to January 11, the Green Falcons have organized a series of friendly matches during this period. They will face the Lebanese national team on January 4, followed by a match against the Palestine national team on January 9. The training will culminate with a third friendly against the Hong Kong national team on January 10.
Upon their arrival at Hamad International Airport, the delegation was warmly received by the 2023 Asian Cup Organizing Committee. Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Federation, expressed gratitude to the organizing committee for their warm reception and generous hospitality.
The journey from Riyadh commenced on Sunday morning, with the national team departing from King Khalid International Airport. Notably, Saudi Arabia becomes the second team to arrive in Doha for the tournament, following the Blue Tigers of India, who landed on Saturday, December 30, 2023.
