Paris 2024 Olympics

To mark the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Qatar Museums is presenting a vibrant lineup of exhibitions and public events beginning July 24. The program features two main exhibitions curated by Qatar Museums and the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, along with a special culinary event and the launch of the first-ever Arabic translation of writings by Pierre de Coubertin, the visionary behind the modern Olympic Games.

This summer’s events underscore the strong cultural ties between Qatar and France and aim to build new connections through a shared passion for sports. The program continues the legacy of the Qatar-France 2020 Year of Culture, a collaborative initiative celebrating cultural exchanges between the two nations. The partnership dates back to the 2014 Cultural Agreement signed between the State of Qatar and the French Republic.
