Qatar’s Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has launched the “Hader” mobile application, a new digital platform designed to improve mosque operations, streamline administrative services, and strengthen communication between mosque staff and the ministry.
The launch forms part of the ministry’s ongoing digital transformation strategy aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and delivering smarter services for mosque employees across the country.
The Hader app enables imams, muezzins, supervisors, and other authorised mosque personnel to access a wide range of administrative services through a single platform. Users can submit requests, manage work-related tasks, receive official notifications, and communicate directly with relevant departments without the need for paper-based procedures.
The ministry said the application has been developed to simplify daily administrative processes while improving response times and increasing operational efficiency across Qatar’s network of mosques.
In addition to supporting routine administrative functions, the app provides users with real-time updates, service requests, and digital tools that help facilitate the management of mosque operations and employee responsibilities.
Officials noted that the platform reflects the ministry’s commitment to adopting advanced digital technologies that improve service quality and support a modern working environment. The initiative also aligns with Qatar’s broader digital transformation agenda and efforts to expand the use of smart government services.
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs said the Hader application will contribute to raising productivity, enhancing institutional performance, and strengthening coordination between mosque staff and ministry departments.
The ministry encouraged eligible personnel to download and begin using the application, describing it as an important step toward creating a more efficient, connected, and digitally enabled system for managing mosque services throughout Qatar.
The launch underscores the ministry’s continued investment in technology-driven solutions that enhance public services while supporting the country’s vision of building an innovative and digitally integrated government sector.
