Qatar Museums
Qatar Museums (QM) released its program of exciting and diverse activities for January.
The month will feature a variety of thrilling programs, including hands-on workshops, immersive camps, and engaging storytelling sessions, offering fun and creativity for both children and adults as they begin the year with fresh experiences.
National Museum of Qatar will host on Jan. 2, the storytelling session: "Where is My Teacher?", and on Jan. 5, a Drop-in Activity: Navigation Life.
Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art will host on Jan. 11, the workshop: Art Adventure for teens, and on Jan. 18, a creative writing workshop about journey and travel for those interested in travel literature, titled: From Painting to Manuscripts: Writing Gerome's Journey.
The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) will host on Jan. 6, its monthly Story Time at MIA Library: "Snow White: An Islamic Tale", on Jan. 27, its monthly Book Club: "The Ottomans: A Cultural Legacy", in addition to its monthly Escape Room: The Scholars of the Islamic World, which will take place every Tuesday and Thursday until Sept. 2.
Fire Station: Artist in Residence will host on Jan. 24-25, an interactive workshop guided by expert instructors and resident artists, titled Sonic Spark: Ableton for Beginners.
The Future Art Mill Museum is excited to offer a series of engaging workshops and curator-led tours, designed for both children and adults to enjoy. These programs are part of the Manzar: Art and Architecture from Pakistan 1940s to Today exhibition, which will be on display until Jan. 31, 2025.
