Doha: Qatar Foundation (QF) is inviting children, students, and families to enjoy a summer filled with learning, creativity, sports, and personal development through its "Summer of Discovery" programme at Education City. Running from June to August, the initiative features a wide variety of camps, workshops, classes, and recreational activities designed for participants of all ages and abilities.
A Summer of Learning Beyond the Classroom
Qatar Foundation aims to encourage lifelong learning by offering experiences that go beyond traditional education. Participants can explore leadership, creative arts, technology, sports, and wellness while building confidence, developing new skills, and connecting with the community.
Hamad S. Al Shaiba, Head of Sports Programming at Qatar Foundation, said the programme reflects Education City's commitment to inspiring curiosity, creativity, leadership, and well-being through inclusive opportunities that help young people discover their potential.

Education City's indoor sports facilities will remain active throughout the summer, offering access to:

Technology, Creativity and Leadership Programmes
QF's Pre-University Education (PUE) is once again hosting the popular Mukhayamna Programme, where students can participate in courses covering:

Quantum computing
Leadership development

Meanwhile, Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar is offering creative workshops in 3D modelling, 3D printing, and design, giving high school students an opportunity to experience university-level creative education.
Special Programmes for Girls and Families
The Creating Pathways Summer Camp welcomes girls aged 7 to 12 with training in athletics, volleyball, basketball, tennis, fencing, swimming, nutrition, and fitness under the guidance of female coaches.
At Al-Mujadilah: Center & Mosque for Women, girls can participate in the Khawla Summer Camp, while mothers and daughters can join nutrition workshops and interactive sessions focused on healthy lifestyles and personal development.
Arts and Cultural Experiences
Creative learning continues through workshops at Lawh Wa Qalam: M. F. Husain Museum, featuring activities such as painting, embroidery, metal embossing, and printmaking. Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art is also hosting its "Beat the Heat" Summer Camp, encouraging creativity and community engagement through interactive art experiences.
