The Qatari beach volleyball team (1) qualified for the quarterfinals of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou after defeating their Omani counterpart 2-0.

The duo Ahmed Tijan and Cherif Younousse defeated the Omani team Al Shereiqi and Al Hassani 2-0 with a score of 21-13 and 21-11 to advance to the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, the Qatari beach volleyball team (2) consisting of Mahmoud Essam and Abdullah Naseem exited the competitions after losing to Chinese team in the round of 16 of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou.
