The race's start and finish will be at Al Wakrah's family beach. The distances are 10 km for 17 years old and over, 5 km for the same age group, 3 km for 7 to 16 years old and a special race for children from 3 to 6 years old at 800 meters divided back and forth.

QSFA Director of Events and Activities explained that the 800-meter race was created with the aim of having a suitable option for children aged 3 to 6 to practice the sport and prepare them to participate in future races.

Al Dosari expressed his excitement for the Al Wakrah Challenge, which is the first evening race to be held in the city and the third in the Qatar Trail Series, as part of the cooperation agreement with Trails Sports Events to hold four races over the course of the year.

He noted that registration for the Al Wakrah Challenge is through the QSFA application.

Al Dosari added that a large number of sports events are being added to the calendar, reaching a total of 683. In addition to the Sealine, Al Wakrah, Fuwayrit and Theeb races, QSFA is keen to hold races and marathons in all areas of Qatar.

By organizing these races, QSFA aims to increase the level of participation of young people in international races, take advantage of the country's sports facilities and familiarize participants with Qatar's natural and cultural scene, Al Dosari said.
