In 2023, the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) successfully executed relief and development operations valued at QR 483 million, impacting the lives of 8.7 million beneficiaries globally and locally.

Demonstrating its commitment to humanitarian and social services, QRCS played a pivotal role in realizing the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and maintaining Qatar's esteemed position in the international humanitarian landscape.

At the local level, QRCS directed efforts toward year-round and seasonal programs that benefited 1,062,917 individuals, with a total expenditure of QR 12,776,643. Initiatives encompassed community care projects, aiding those facing financial hardships, including impoverished students, patients, and individuals in debt. Community development initiatives included vocational and FabLab training for inmates, environmental awareness workshops for children, and participation in various university and professional events.

QRCS concluded 2023 with a roster of 29,645 registered volunteers who underwent training and actively participated in numerous voluntary assignments.

The Medical Affairs Division collaborated with the Ministry of Public Health, operating health centers and an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department, which deployed 50 ambulances and provided care at various events and facilities.

The Training and Development Center offered professional education courses, training of trainers, and health education for workers and the public. In 2023, health care and education services benefited 1,732,129 individuals, primarily expatriate workers, with a budget of QR 316,743,049.

Internationally, QRCS executed humanitarian projects valued at QR 154,175,653, aiding 5,973,734 people across 27 countries. Projects covered health care, shelter, food security, livelihoods, water and sanitation, and education, including seasonal campaigns.

The Disaster Information Management Center (DIMC) responded to 14 disasters and crises, deploying medical convoys and aiding in various medical specializations.

In 2023, QRCS organized the 1st Annual Scientific Conference in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health, focusing on capacity-building for primary health care professionals. Additionally, the 9th Disaster Management Camp (DMC-9) trained 300 participants in humanitarian and relief skills, involving various organizations and National Societies.
