The general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended last July's trading, with an increase of 22.60 points, or 0.21 percent, to reach 10,753.28 points.
Trading value during the month of July accounted QR 4,322,288,983.517 and the trading volume reached 1,636,102,628 with 112,706 transactions.
The Market capitalization accounted QR 621,595,432,446.140 as compared to 622,394,993,494.080 at the end previous month.
Banking and Financial Services sector increased 22.97 points (+0.51 percent) to 4,530.82 points and Consumer Goods and Services sector gained 17.88 points (+0.22 percent) to 8,118.11 points.
Industries sector dropped to 8.04 points (-0.22 percent) to 3,578.84 and the Insurance sector up 33.41 points (+1.28 percent) to 2,639.8 points.
The Real Estate sector lost 3.71 points (-0.21 percent) to 1,751.72 points. The Telecom sector dropped 29.00 points (-2.69 percent) to 1,047.23 points and Transportation sector added 47.46 points (+1.41 percent) to 3,407.08 points.
From the 48 listed companies 19 ended this month higher, while 29 lower. (QNA)
