Qatar Stock Exchange index lost 117.12 points, as the general index declined by 0.89 percent, to reach 13065 points, compared to Thursday's trading.

The decline recorded is due to the drop in the performance of various sectors that make up the general index, mainly the transportation sector which declined by 1.76 percent, the industrial sector by 0.87 percent, and the insurance sector by 0.81 percent.

The Qatari Stock Exchange recorded, at 10:00 am, transactions worth QR 103.960, distributed among 41.234 million shares, with the implementation of 2334 deals.
