Mowasalat signed cooperation agreement

Mowasalat (Karwa) has signed a cooperation agreement with Qatar Charity to support its humanitarian projects and to further utilize its experiences in providing highly qualified human cadres for the volunteering works in Karwa, within the framework of the societal responsibility of the company.

The agreement, which was signed by Chief Executive Officer of Operations at Mowasalat Ahmed Hassan Al Obaidly, and Assistant CEO of Programs and Community Development Sector at Qatar Charity Faisal bin Rashid Al Fehaida, intends to build a strategic partnership between the two parties for the service of community and humanitarian action, in addition to promoting the volunteering work culture.

The signing of the agreement marks the culmination of numerous joint cooperation initiatives between Mowasalat and Qatar Charity over the past years and the onset of new phase to further boost the bilateral cooperation.

Commenting on this agreement, Mowasalat CEO Fahad Saad Al Qahtani said that such cooperation is set to support a number of joint initiatives for the service of community, hailing the experiences of Qatar Charity in selecting the best qualified cadres of volunteers to co-opt the task force members for the sake of supporting the Company's efforts during the upcoming major sporting events. He affirmed that the two sides would join forces to maintain and build on Qatars welcoming image worldwide.

For his part, CEO of Qatar Charity Yousef Ahmed Al Kuwari expressed his delight with the agreement signed with Mowasalat (Karwa), noting that this agreement is an extension of the continuous cooperation between the two parties. He also hoped that this agreement will deepen cooperation in the future.

He added that this cooperation is in line with Qatar Charity's interests in spreading the culture of voluntary work and involve community members in the community services in particular, and humanitarian work in general. He indicated that the agreement is part of Qatar Charitys efforts to cooperate and partner with all entities within the country.
