HH the Amir meets with US president

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Saturday with HE President Joe Biden, President of the United States of America, on the sidelines of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit held in Jeddah on Saturday.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral strategic relations and ways to support and strengthen them in various fields, particularly security, defense and sports, especially the preparations of the state of Qatar to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Regional and international developments were also discussed. In this regard, the US president expressed his thanks and appreciation to the State of Qatar for its role in promoting security and stability and its efforts in the peace process in Afghanistan.
