The 21st Asian Games – Doha 2030 Organizing CommitteeH.E. Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President and Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) President and Chairman of the Organising Committee for the 21st Asian Games on Wednesday, 8 April inspected the Athletes' Village project in Lusail City.

His Excellency was briefed on the latest developments and progress achieved in designing the project, which will officially house approximately 18,000 athletes during the Games in an endeavor to meet with highest international standards.

The visit was attended by H.E. Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Meer, President of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and member of Organizing Committee for Doha 2030 Asian Games; HE Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain, Secretary-General of QOC and member of the Organizing Committee; Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Buainain, CEO Organizing Committee.

The Integrated Athletes Village, which has specialized training facilities and services that address the needs of athletes.

It also bets on the principles of sustainability in its design and operation, aligning with the concept of smart city through the use of new technologies to improve life quality and manage facilities and services in an efficient way.
