One Million Visitors at FIFA Fan Festival
The FIFA Fan Festival, at Doha's Al Bidda Park, has received over one million visitors since its opening on November 19, one day ahead of the kick off of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Fan Festival visitor No. 1,000,000 'Egyptian Haitham Mukhtar' received two tickets to the final match at Lusail Stadium in addition to the World Cup official ball signed by a number of football legends.
Following the announcement, Haitham Mukhtar who is a Qatar resident said he was delighted to find himself on the stage, standing before thousands of people and carrying in one hand a ball signed by three legendary footballers and in the other hand to tickets to the final match of the tournament.
The FIFA Fan Festival is located near to the Doha Corniche and is a main destination to the World Cup fans.
The Festival presents the World Cup matches on giant screens in addition to several entertainment events. It is open for fans every day from 4pm to 2 am.
The FIFA Fan Festival has different food and beverage outlets, as well as a unique entertainment program that combines football with various entertainment activities, and presents local and international artists and musicians. (QNA)
