Crescent moon sighted in Saudi Arabia, Eid Al Adha date revealed

The crescent moon for Dhul Hijjah 1447 has officially been sighted in Saudi Arabia, marking Monday, May 18, 2026, as the first day of the blessed month. 

Muslims around the world now prepare for the sacred days of Hajj and worship, filled with prayers, reflection, sacrifice, and unity. 

The Day of Arafah will be observed on May 26, while Eid Al Adha celebrations will begin on May 27, bringing families and communities together in faith and gratitude.
