CENTCOM Confirms New Wave of Strikes Against Iran

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that a new wave of military strikes against Iranian targets has begun, marking a sharp escalation in Washington’s response to recent regional attacks attributed to Tehran and its allied militias.

In a statement released early Tuesday, CENTCOM said U.S. forces launched “coordinated precision strikes” against sites linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and affiliated groups across multiple locations. The targets reportedly included weapons storage facilities, command-and-control centers, and drone launch sites used in recent attacks on U.S. personnel and regional partners.

CENTCOM described the operation as part of an ongoing campaign to “degrade Iran’s ability to conduct and support destabilizing activities,” stressing that the strikes were designed to limit civilian harm and avoid broader escalation.
