The 34th Doha International Book Fair (DIBF) will occur from May 8 to 17, 2025, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Organized by the Ministry of Culture, the event will feature participation from hundreds of international publishers and embassies, solidifying its reputation as the region's longest-running and most prestigious literary event.
Special attention will be given to children and youth, with dedicated pavilions for children’s books and interactive activities to inspire reading. Cultural discussions on diverse public-interest topics will also be featured.
Since its launch in 1972, the DIBF has grown into a globally recognized event, breaking participation records in 2024 with over 515 publishers from 42 countries across 29,000 square meters. The fair also continues its tradition of honoring a Guest of Honor country, spotlighting their literary and cultural contributions.
The DIBF remains a vital platform for fostering literary appreciation and cultural exchange in the region and beyond.
